Now he's on my shoulder, how cute.

Birdie

Yesterday I finally got my Cockatiel. He has no name yet, but I think I'm gonna name him Max. It will take a bit for him to get used to the new environment but after that I think he's gonna be a tame little bird. He has a very beautiful color to him (not depicted well in these pictures) that is a mix between his father's graphite and his mother's lutino. When he spreads his wings it's mainly white and then it merges into the graphite. On the underside it is all white and looks very angelic.

Eventually Nicole and I are gonna go get her bird. If mine turns out to be tame and everything it will be a good example of how lovable these birds can be. Hopefully she won't get too attached to the bird though <.<

So, what else... what else... Been programming on my projects and helping another group with their project. Haven't been playing too much Wii, too many other things going on. So, not much going on, I know, I'm boring.

Well, that's it really. (<3 Nicole... bwahahaha)

Heater

Today I got a heater for the basement in which I reside in [yes, they keep me chained up down here :'( ] and so far it seems to be working. I really needed it more for the bird I'm gonna get than myself because it can't stand a big temperature drop (from it's old home to my home). By-the-way, I'm getting my bird on Saturday (that's when the bird person is getting our cages that we ordered). If you don't know about my bird, it's a 5 week old male cockatiel. I got Nicole one for Christmas, but we bought it from the store and it is not as nice as I had hoped it would be. So, my mom bought it from me/her and we are gonna go get a baby bird for her also.

On a side note, I like the band Plain white T's. Their new CD (Every Second Counts) is pretty good by my standards. I ripped both of their CDs from Jon and haven't gotten around the the first one yet, I might do that tonight still.

Well, not too much else has happened, so... bye.

Again with the blog...

I let the last two blogs die, I'm not gonna let this one (<.<). Dunno what happened to the other one, but meh.

So, I'm currently on winter break and it hasn't been too boring. Christmas was fun, New Years was fun, and now the stretch from New Years to the beginning of the spring semester (which should also be okay). I'm programming and playing games on my Wii, so all is fine in my world.

Even though that seems like nothing to almost anybody, it's a big thing to me. It's been a long time since I've been able to just say "I'm fine" and mean it. I have a wonderful girlfriend, I have great friends, I'm doing good in school (except for that "I", but that will be resolved), and everything is pretty much stable at home. To me, it couldn't really get any better than this... and if it could, I really haven't experienced it yet. Surprisingly I don't feel out of place about it either, it's new and different... but good.

If you couldn't tell from what I've just said how I'm doing with Nicole, then you might have some brain issues, but I'll explain anyway. We have been dating for 8 months and 9 days. In school we both got 3.9 for our GPA (hers was 3.93 and mine is currently 3.91), so that means I didn't distract her that much. Her friends like me, and my friends like her. What else is there to say? (That I plan on merr... nvm)

This is the first post of hopefully many to come...
